Looking for an asbestos awareness course near you? Envirotech offers asbestos training courses throughout New Zealand – including the IP402 – to help you comply with Regulation 17 of the Health and Safety at Work (Asbestos) Regulations 2016, and help those at risk of asbestos exposure to be more conscious of their surroundings.

Our classroom-based asbestos training courses are delivered by qualified experts with internationally recognised asbestos qualifications and extensive expertise.

Our Asbestos Awareness for Tradespersons course is essential for those who will, or may, come into contact with asbestos as part of their daily work, as well as individuals whose responsibilities include the management of asbestos in their buildings.

By the end of this course, attendees will be able to:

  • Discuss the origins of asbestos and where it is found

  • Understand relevant legislation
  • Identify the locations/products where asbestos containing materials are likely to be found
